In the early morning hours of August 27, 2023, a night of celebration turned into a scene of tragedy in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, ending the life of 37-year-old Terrance Bethel. The male victim was attending a 'last rodeo' party at the Southern Restaurant & Lounge on West Market Street, an event marking the closing of that location with an estimated 200 to 300 people in attendance.
