On April 15, 2023, a mass shooting occurred at Chickasaw Park in Louisville, Kentucky, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including Deaji Goodman, who was 28 years old at the time of his death. The incident happened around 9 p.m. when someone opened fire in a crowd of several hundred people who had gathered to enjoy an unusually warm spring night.
