Timothy was an outgoing young man who worked at a local Kentucky Fried Chicken. On the day before his death, he had attended a mandatory meeting at his job and then went shopping for a new outfit to go out in that evening. Friends and acquaintances reported seeing him out and about, but a definitive timeline of his last hours has never been established. The discovery of his body, dressed in drag, led his family and many in the community to initially believe his murder was a hate crime.
