On a Sunday night in Brooklyn, the life of 22-year-old Eric Lantimo was tragically cut short. On April 6, 2014, in the East Flatbush neighborhood, gunshots shattered the evening air. Police received a 911 call and responded to 1610 Nostrand Avenue around 11 p.m. There, they discovered Lantimo with multiple gunshot wounds to his head, back, and right shoulder. Emergency services rushed him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
