In the early morning hours of a violent August night in 2015, a 25-year-old Black man named Clifford Fisher was fatally shot inside the Howard Houses on Mother Gaston Boulevard in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The incident occurred at approximately 4:45 a.m. on August 14th. Fisher sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, but his life could not be saved.
