Carlik McClatchie, a 22-year-old father from Brooklyn, New York, was tragically killed on September 9, 2015. McClatchie was riding his bicycle on Albany Avenue near Prospect Place in the Crown Heights neighborhood when he was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant. The incident occurred around 7 p.m., and McClatchie was struck in the stomach by the gunfire. Despite being rushed to Interfaith Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
