On a Wednesday evening in Brooklyn, New York, 22-year-old Carlik McClatchie was riding his bicycle in the Crown Heights neighborhood. It was around 7 p.m. on September 9, 2015, when violence erupted. As McClatchie rode on Albany Avenue, near Prospect Place, he was shot in the stomach.
