John Romano, aged 36, was tragically murdered on July 4, 1982, in Brooklyn, New York. His death was a result of a violent encounter with the notorious DeMeo Crew, a group known for their brutal and systematic approach to murder. The DeMeo Crew, led by Roy DeMeo, was involved in numerous killings during the 1970s and early 1980s. Romano's murder was reportedly one of the last committed by Roy DeMeo before he himself was killed.
