In the early hours of September 2, 2019, a tragic event unfolded in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, forever altering the lives of the Collado family. Danny Collado Jr., a 23-year-old man, was fatally shot in the torso near the intersection of Weirfield Street and Irving Avenue, just a mile from his home.
