In the early morning hours of July 26, 2020, a young man's life was cut tragically short on a street in the Bronx. Juan Carlos Ortega, a 24-year-old male, was fatally shot in the Belmont neighborhood. The incident unfolded around 5:42 a.m. near the intersection of Grote Street and Prospect Avenue, where a crowd had gathered.
