Daijyonna Akira Renee Long, a 20-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on November 22, 2020, in Brooklyn, New York. Daijyonna, originally from Stafford, Virginia, had traveled to Brooklyn to attend a "Sweet 16" afterparty. The event, held in an apartment on Albany Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, turned deadly when multiple gunmen opened fire.
