On April 30, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Mojave, California, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including 31-year-old Darius Travon Canada. The Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on H Street, where they discovered the victims with gunshot wounds to the upper body. Canada, along with two other victims, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the fourth victim succumbed to injuries at a hospital shortly thereafter.
