Bill Holman, a 37-year-old Black male from Mojave, was found mortally wounded inside a vehicle near the intersection of O Street and Inyo Street late on October 27, 2025. Deputies with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office responded around 11:30 p.m. after reports of shots heard and discovered Holman with at least one gunshot wound; medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
