On a summer evening in the Bronx, the life of 32-year-old Ronnell Garmie, a male, was abruptly cut short. On August 3, 2021, at approximately 8:13 p.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a person shot in the Fordham Heights neighborhood. Officers arrived at the scene in front of an apartment building at 2335 Tiebout Avenue to find Garmie unconscious and unresponsive, having sustained a gunshot wound to his chest.
