Najai Nigel Sow, a 35-year-old father from the Bronx, New York, was tragically shot and killed on May 23, 2020. The incident occurred in the lobby of his apartment building on Hoe Avenue near Bruckner Boulevard in the Longwood neighborhood. Sow was shot three times in the torso around 5:40 p.m. and was found unconscious by first responders. Despite being rushed to Lincoln Hospital, he could not be saved.
