On a Friday evening in the Bronx, the life of 28-year-old Dennis Neal was tragically cut short. On September 3, 2021, at approximately 8:38 p.m., Neal was shot in the chest in front of an apartment building at the Edenwald Houses on East 229th Drive South. First responders rushed him to Montefiore Hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
