In the summer of 2022, a violent encounter in the Bronx claimed the life of 41-year-old Craig Thomas of West Hempstead, New York. On the afternoon of Saturday, August 27, police responded to a 911 call at the intersection of East 214th Street and Wilson Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx. Upon arrival, they discovered Thomas inside a car, unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. Emergency services rushed him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved fatal.
