Charles Powell, a 24-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on May 16, 2018. Powell was shot in the head and leg outside an apartment building on Clay Avenue near East 168th Street in the Concourse Village neighborhood. The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m., and Powell was quickly rushed to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in cardiac arrest, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
