On a Wednesday afternoon in the Bronx, just before 5 p.m. on April 23, 2025, Marji Daoud, a 28-year-old male from Yonkers, was fatally shot in the head. The incident occurred on University Avenue in the Kingsbridge Heights neighborhood. Daoud had reportedly just returned to his car after visiting a friend when gunfire erupted.
