Death by Force

On April 23, 2025, Marji Daoud, a 28-year-old male from Yonkers, New York, was fatally shot in the head in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx. The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. at 2690 University Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots before seeing Daoud collapse in front of a candy and grocery store. Emergency responders transported him to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
