Sylvester Paul, a 46-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on September 24, 2018. The incident occurred late at night when Paul was shot in the chest on E. Gun Hill Road near Fenton Avenue in the Baychester neighborhood. After being shot, Paul sought refuge in a nearby deli, the Gun Hill Gourmet Deli, where he collapsed. Despite the efforts of medics who rushed him to Jacobi Medical Center, Paul succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
