Special Agent Daniel Alfin tragically lost his life on February 2, 2021, while executing a federal court-ordered search warrant in Sunrise, Florida. Alfin, along with Special Agent Laura Schwartzenberger, was part of a team conducting a raid as part of a crimes against children investigation. The operation took a deadly turn when the suspect, David Lee Huber, opened fire on the agents as they attempted to breach his door.
