Rasheed Papley, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 18, 2020, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The incident occurred during a home invasion at his Lauderhill apartment, located near Northwest 52nd Avenue and 18th Court. Rasheed and his roommate were both shot during the break-in, which took place in the early hours of the morning. The assailants fled the scene, leaving Rasheed fatally wounded. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries.
