Rafael Ramon Purdie, a 39-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 12, 2022, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Carolina Motor Inn, located on Gillespie Street. Around 11 p.m., deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office responded to a call reporting a shooting at the motel. Upon arrival, they found Rafael Ramon Purdie with gunshot wounds.
