Carlos Roman-Morales, a 40-year-old man from Rochester, NY, was tragically shot and killed on September 21, 2022. The incident occurred on Weaver Street around 10:30 p.m. while Roman-Morales was walking down the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Roman-Morales was well-known and well-liked in the neighborhood, often helping with odd jobs despite being homeless. His death marked the 59th homicide in Rochester for the year 2022.
