Christopher Hagerman, a 22-year-old resident of Essex, Maryland, was found dead on the morning of February 25, 2015, in Bowleys Quarters. His body was discovered by a passerby behind the 3800 block of Bayville Road, several hundred yards from Seneca Elementary School. The autopsy report revealed that Hagerman had been shot multiple times, and his death was ruled a homicide. The initial investigation did not provide any immediate suspects or motives.
