On August 9, 2015, Sandeep Bhulai, a 26-year-old resident of Essex, Maryland, was found dead in the Middle River area. Authorities discovered his body at the end of Dark Head Road near Redthorn Road, following a call reporting a body at around 4 a.m. Bhulai had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Baltimore County Police Department immediately launched an investigation into his death, urging anyone with information to come forward.
