Sandeep Bhulai, a 26-year-old male, had just returned home from work on August 9, 2015, and was sitting in his car in Middle River when he was approached by a group of men. The men, who had reportedly come to the neighborhood with the intention of stealing a vehicle, pulled Bhulai from his car. They proceeded to rob him of his wallet and cellphone before shooting him multiple times with three different guns. The assailants then fled the scene, leaving Bhulai's car behind.
