In the early morning hours of January 24, 2020, the life of 29-year-old David Leroy King, a Black male from Essex, Maryland, was tragically cut short. King, also known by his rapper name "Dee Dave," was fatally shot in a double shooting that occurred around 5:11 a.m. in the 900 block of Holgate Drive.
