Conrad Cole, a 20-year-old resident of Hyattsville, Maryland, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2016. Cole, who was mentally ill and living in a transitional group home, was fatally shot after a brief confrontation with an individual in a car. The incident occurred around 1:20 p.m. on Greenvale Parkway near Glenoak Road. Cole and other residents of the group home were walking to a nearby basketball court when the altercation took place.
