James Edward Joyce, a 31-year-old resident of Salisbury, Maryland, tragically lost his life on December 26, 2016. The incident occurred during a home invasion at a two-story apartment on Baker Street in Salisbury. According to reports, the Salisbury police were flagged down by a passerby who reported the shooting. Upon arrival, they found Joyce and his mother, Hilda Barkley, who had also been shot. Joyce was pronounced dead while being transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
