Roy Walters, a 57-year-old African American man from Salisbury, Maryland, was found dead in his apartment on February 22, 2025. Authorities responded to a welfare check at his residence on Parsons Road shortly before 6 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Walters lying unresponsive on the floor with apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest the shooting occurred earlier that morning, around 3:50 a.m.
