Death by Force

On February 16, 2024, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Maryland State Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of North Division Street in Salisbury, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 49-year-old Richard Darlington Smith, who had been walking down the street when he was shot multiple times. Emergency medical personnel pronounced Smith deceased at the scene.
