On August 5, 2024, ten-year-old Tyron Colbert Jr. was tragically shot and killed in his home located in the 200 block of Clay Street, Salisbury, Maryland. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM when shots were fired into the residence while Tyron was inside with his mother and two other young children. Emergency services responded to a 911 call and transported Tyron to Tidal Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
