Stephon Mathis, a 26-year-old resident of Oxon Hill, Maryland, tragically lost his life on April 1, 2018. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Maury Avenue, where Prince George's County Police officers responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Mathis suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to a nearby hospital, Mathis succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
