On the evening of November 30, 2023, a dispute on the road in Oxon Hill, Maryland, escalated into a fatal encounter for 47-year-old Neris Requeno Rodriguez of Temple Hills. At approximately 5:55 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of Oxon Hill Road after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Rodriguez inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.
