In the quiet evening of June 6, 2017, in Oxon Hill, Maryland, a dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion. Shahim Body, a 26-year-old male, was discovered by police suffering from gunshot wounds in the 5200 block of Leverett Street at approximately 8:40 p.m. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries several hours later.
