On a Thursday evening in September, the sound of gunshots broke the night's calm in Oxon Hill, Maryland, leading to the discovery of a grim scene. On September 10, 2020, police officers on patrol in the 600 block of Audrey Lane were drawn by the sound of gunfire. Upon investigation, they found two men outside, both suffering from gunshot wounds. One of these men was 26-year-old Kion Scott, a male resident of Oxon Hill.
