Ralland Whitfield, a 25-year-old resident of Lothian, Maryland, tragically lost his life on August 1, 2018, in Oxon Hill, Maryland. The incident occurred at Seitz Liquors, located in the 6200 block of Livingston Road. Whitfield was inside the liquor store making a purchase when 27-year-old David Edward Hall entered the store and shot him multiple times. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, but it is believed that Whitfield and Hall knew each other.
