On September 27, 2024, Daryl McCall, a 30-year-old resident of District Heights, Maryland, was fatally shot in Oxon Hill. The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. in the parking lot of a location on Indian Head Highway. Upon arrival, police found McCall suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
