In January of 2020, the life of 25-year-old Marcus Shabazz was tragically cut short. A resident of Washington D.C., he was last seen alive in the early morning hours of January 12th in the Barry Farm neighborhood of Southeast D.C. Two days later, his body was discovered in a wooded area off of Iverson Street in Oxon Hill, Maryland, just across the District line. He had been shot multiple times.
