On the night of June 27, 2019, Gregory Allen Bair Knight, a 30-year-old man from Frederick, Maryland, sat in a vehicle on Columbine Drive when a sudden eruption of gunfire turned an ordinary summer evening into a scene of horror. Just before 9:40 p.m., a call reporting possible shots brought officers to the 1000 block of Columbine Drive, where they found Knight mortally wounded by multiple gunshot injuries.
