On November 9, 2020, Deandre Jerome Banks, a 23-year-old resident of Waldorf, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed in Suitland, Maryland. The incident occurred around 6:15 PM in the 3500 block of Silver Park Drive. Patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting and found Banks outside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
