Courtney Simms, a 22-year-old resident of Temple Hills, Maryland, tragically lost his life on July 9, 2017, in a shooting incident in Suitland, Maryland. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of Silver Hill Road. Simms, along with 23-year-old Anthony Douglas of Marlow Heights, Maryland, was found suffering from gunshot wounds when police arrived at the scene.
