On a Tuesday afternoon in October 2021, the life of a young man was cut short in Suitland, Maryland. Branden Sellers, a 23-year-old male from District Heights, was found inside a vehicle in the 3900 block of Southern Avenue, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. The Prince George's County Police Department responded to the report of a shooting at approximately 1:05 p.m. on October 12, 2021, and Sellers was pronounced dead at the scene.
