On a Sunday afternoon in Suitland, Maryland, tragedy struck, leaving a family and community mourning the loss of a life taken too soon. On October 10, 2021, 43-year-old Carl D. Tucker II, a Black/African American male from Washington, D.C., was found fatally shot in a parking lot. The Prince George's County Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 3:45 p.m. in the 3500 block of Parkway Terrace Drive.
