On August 6, 2024, at approximately 2:35 p.m., Prince George's County police officers responded to a shooting in the 4300 block of Ridgecrest Drive in Suitland, Maryland. Upon arrival, they found 38-year-old Fernando Alvarenga Cuellar suffering from gunshot wounds outside his residence.
