On May 29, 2017, Bruce Coley, a 43-year-old resident of Mitchellville, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed in Suitland, Maryland. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. in the 3200 block of Swann Road. According to reports, Coley and another man were both shot at the scene. While the other man's injuries were not life-threatening, Coley succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a hospital.
