Travaris Montel Gourdine, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically killed during a home invasion in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on December 16, 2017. The incident occurred at 4375 Tise Avenue, where two armed individuals broke into the residence and shot Gourdine. This violent act marked the city's second homicide in just two days.
