Samarius Claycomb, a 30-year-old man from Louisville, Kentucky, spent the last night of his life doing something ordinary: walking back from a neighborhood store to the apartment complex where his girlfriend lived. It was late on February 29, 2012, when gunfire shattered the routine quiet of the 600 block of South 37th Street in west Louisville.
