Montay Wade, a 29-year-old resident of Louisville, Kentucky, lost his life to gun violence on August 11, 2024. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Baxter Avenue in the Original Highlands neighborhood. On that Sunday, just after 2 a.m., Wade was one of three men shot in the area. Another victim, Michael Bachelor Jr., also known as EST Lu Mike, aged 20, was found deceased at the scene due to gunshot wounds.
