In the late autumn of 2014, the life of a 59-year-old Black male, Hoyle R. Strickland, was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of Sunday, November 23rd, authorities were called to a residence in the 5600 block of Hasbrook Drive, located near Preston Highway. There, they discovered Mr. Strickland, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
