In the early morning hours of a Friday in Washington, D.C., a domestic dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion. The victim was a 60-year-old male named Edward Smith. The events unfolded in the 2100 block of 36th Place, Southeast, where police were initially called for a report of a stabbing. Upon their arrival at approximately 12:39 a.m., they discovered a young man on the sidewalk with a stab wound. This individual was identified as 24-year-old Aaron Smith.
